So here it is. The culmination of my little project to design a more...primative first Warp 5 starship - an Alternate NX, if you will.
Not a lot to say that won't be explained in these pics (which are huge, by the way, the biggest I've ever made, as my computer seems intent on reminding me.
Star Trek is not mine, it's Paramount's. This Endeavour is mine, however, and the blood sweat and tears that have gone into it will form the basis of the black magic spell with which I will make your life a living nightmare if you use any pictures of it without asking first. I say this in the spirit of friendship - and a desire not to have my pictures turn up on people's avatars unannounced.

Beautiful and MUCH more practical design for such a vessel. The explanations seem more feasible, and more likely to occur. Thank you for designing this ship. The impulse engine designs are definitely more robust, and the addition of the observatory, which I have wanted to see on ALL the ship designs in ST, was a stroke of genius, and in retrospect, absolutely necessary to the design. Have you considered designing, or re-designing, any of the interior spaces, bridge, engineering, quarters, companionways, shuttlebays, etc?
