Incorporating two thousand years of technological advancement, the casings used by the re-ascendant Dalek Empire were among the most formidable military machines in the universe. Improved motivators even allowed them a degree of independent flight.

The 'culmination' of the Classic Dalek designs (Master Plan was set in the year 4000, way after every other dated Dalek story), I've tried to make it look like the result of a gradual evolution - but being Daleks, also something that has hardly changed in 2000 years. This is also the most direct antecedent of the Time War Daleks (obvious really, since these were the kinds of Daleks who achieved 'proper' time travel) so there was that to account for too...
The Daleks were a team effort, really, but I was not part of that team...
