Appointed as the supreme controller of Earth and its solar system, the Golden Dalek wielded absolutely authority over the conquered world and all who dwelt upon it. It was the highest ranking Dalek to have left Skaro, answerable only to the Supreme Council. As a result, it rarely left the confines of its control chamber and then, only under the most severe of circumstances. It was such an event - the potential destruction of a timeline in which the Daleks were triumphant - that led to it perishing in a massive explosion caused by anti-Dalek freedom fighters.

The Daleks and Doctor Who belong to their respective owners. This Dalek was based on illustrations by Michiaki Sato for Hayakawa Books.
